We’ve seen a lot of deals for Apple’s AirPods Pro recently, but even with a deal, they may be a bit too pricey for a lot of people. If you want to jump on the AirPods bandwagon (come aboard, we’re waiting for you!) and don’t want to spend anywhere close to $200, today’s your day.
Amazon is offering the AirPods with Wireless Charging Case for $149.98—that’s about $50 off the regular retail price of $199. Though they’re not the Pro model, they’re still very good earbuds. And that’s a hefty chunk of change you’ll be saving.
If that’s still above your budget, you can get the regular AirPods with Charging Case for $129 on Amazon. You’ll have to use a cable to charge it, but you’ll save $29 off the regular retail price.
If you absolutely need to have the AirPods Pro, Amazon is selling them for $229.95, which is about $19 lower. We’ve seen them reduced to as much as $225, so this is a pretty good deal.
As of this writing, the AirPods are in stock, so you can probably have them delivered sooner than later.
In our review of the second-generation AirPods (the non-pro models), we said that they “may not have the best sound quality [compared to other wireless earbuds], and we’d love a more snug fit that blocks a little more ambient sound. But their convenience, ease of use, and fit and finish remain unmatched.” Read our review
As for the AirPods Pro, in our roundup of true wireless earbuds, we said that they “live at the sweet spot of comfort, ease of use, features, and sound quality. They sound better than regular AirPods by a good measure…They’re incredibly compact and lightweight with shorter stems than AirPods, making them ultra-comfortable. You don’t even get that ‘plugged’ feeling with them in your ears like you do with most earbuds.”

Apple takes the smash-hit AirPods and improves fit, comfort, and sound quality while adding a decent active noise reduction system and great transparency mode. But at this price, they should probably sound just a little better.
